What an awesome trip. I surprised Allison with a trip to NYC in late April and we had a blast. We flew 1st class from San Fran to La Guardia(cashed in those airline miles), stayed at the Waldorf Astoria, saw Mama Mia and Wicked on Broadway, sat front row at the David Letterman show, took a helicopter tour over the city and the Statue of Liberty, and finished with lunch at Tavern On The Green.
Here is the kicker...on
e night we were staying in a suite where President Johnson and Pope Paul VI met in 1965, then several nights later we are sleeping on cots in the Chicago airport after our flight was so severely delayed. These are the things that memories are made of!
